Living a Mulligan Life

Mulligan Golf ClubLiving a “Mulligan Life” is a golf metaphor that describes a life of forgiveness, friendship, and fellowship through Jesus.

The “Mulligan Life” begins with the best second-chance ever given only by “Jesus.”

We receive this second-chance by joining with Jesus through faith in Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” (NIV), thus we are reconciled or “made friends” with God, who alone fulfills the meaning of our lives.

As we grow in this friendship and in our love for “Jesus” we become more like Him, being sustained by His continuing grace.  We enjoy life with Him and with others who are joined with “Jesus,” benefiting from relationships within the community of Christ.  The “Mulligan Life” is not to be lived in isolation, rather carried out in fellowship with friends.

As we love Him and one another we are called to come together in the mission of God as ambassadors of His message. Ultimately the “Mulligan Life” is lived for the sake of others, demonstrating to the world the authenticity of His love and sacrifice and its power to change our lives and theirs.

In summary the “Mulligan Life” is a life that has its identity, relationships and mission founded and fulfilled in Jesus Christ because each one of us needs “mulligan’s”.

You are invited to join the “Mulligan Golf Club” which is a metaphor that describes the largest golf club membership in the world, namely golfers who have accept by faith His invitation to follow Jesus!

There are “NO” membership dues to be a member of the “Mulligan Golf Club” because the Bible teaches us that Jesus paid the “Ultimate Mulligan” for our forgiveness of sins and friendship with God.

Jesus is the best “second” chance ever because the world needs mulligan’s.
