The life of professing Christian and folk musician Lorenz Schwarz is just as unique. In this film narrative, he lets young Emanuel share memories of his life and beliefs. As a former goatherd, who grew up in simple circumstances, Lorenz could not cope with his life. Alcohol, nicotine, anger, unemployment and the breakup of a permanent relationship destroy his will to live. In the summer of 1977 there was a decisive encounter in his deepest life crisis, which gave his life a radical turn and release from his ties. This life story is enriched with his musical compositions from his well-known CDs, filmed in a great mountain and natural setting.
